In 1984 Franz Blauensteiner began his career with Loacker Recycling in Götzis, Austria, and was assigned the leadership of the department for the porcessing of scrap metal and non-ferrous scrap in 1987. His areas of responsibility comprised personnel management, maintenance and repair of the plants as well as the constant assessment of the material quality.
In 1999 Blauensteiner was promoted to plant and operations manager of the site in Götzis, Austria. This position put him in charge of the planning and commissioning of any reconstructions and new projects in the area of crushing and sorting plants. Furthermore he was responsible for the extension in regards to the infrastructure of the production as well as the quality management of the materials.
Loacker Recycling wildly expanded and grew from 80 to 200 employees as well as its productive capacity was trippled during this time.
Blauensteiner continued his carreer by his appointment as plant and operations manager of the sites Feldkirch and Frastanz (both Austria) in 2008 and was furthermore in the position of technical director for the Loacker Group including its holdings.
In 2010 Blauensteiner founded the company R-Power and submitted the first patent for the recycling of composite materials at the Austrian Patent and Trademark Office in August 2010.
He resigned from his employment status with Loacker Recycling in 2013 and continues to focus solely on R-Power with his profound experience and keen sense for innovative technologies.
